Word Search is the puzzle of finding words hidden in a grid of letters. Words run in straight lines — across, down or diagonally. Play it on your own at your own pace, or open an online room and race your friends on the same grid. Available in English and Azerbaijani.

How to play
- Pick a grid size — bigger grids are harder.
- Tap the first letter of a word, then its last letter, and submit.
- Every word from the list you find earns points.
- Whoever finds the most words before time runs out wins.
Tips
- Go for long words first: 3–4 letters score 1 point, 5 letters 2, 6 letters 3, 7 letters 5, and 8 or more score 8.
- A word found by more than one player is worth half points (at least 1) to each, so when racing friends, look for the ones others overlook — long, diagonal and backwards words.
- Pick the rarest letter in a word (like j, x or z in English), find it on the grid and check all eight directions around it — much faster than reading every row.
- Big grids hold more words: on 16×16 and 20×20 boards the host can raise the timer to as much as 10 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Can words run backwards or diagonally?
Yes, words can run in any of eight directions: across, down, diagonally, and backwards along each. You can select a word from either end.
How do I mark a word on the grid?
Tap the word’s first letter, then its last letter — the straight line between them is highlighted — and press Submit. Tapping the first letter again cancels, and bent lines aren’t accepted.
When does a Word Search round end?
When the timer runs out or as soon as one player finds every word on the list. The winner is whoever has the most points, so finishing first doesn’t automatically win.
Can I play Word Search on my own?
Yes, create a room and start it by yourself. You choose the grid size, from 8×8 to 20×20, and a timer between 1 and 10 minutes.
