Speed Typing
About the game and how to play
Speed Typing is a race game that measures how fast and accurately you type. Type the text on screen into the box and your vehicle — a car, motorbike, horse, camel or rocket — moves towards the finish with every letter you get right. Race three levels of bots, beat your record in the one-minute test, rank on the daily text that is the same for everyone, or race friends live with a room code. There are English and Azerbaijani texts, and speed is measured in words per minute.

How to play
- Pick your vehicle and the level of your rivals, then start a race.
- After the countdown, type the text into the box; every word and the space after it must be exact.
- A wrong letter shows in red — delete and fix it before moving to the next word.
- At the line see your speed (wpm), accuracy and place, and try to beat your record.
Tips
- Learn to type without looking: keep your fingers on the home row — ASDF and JKL.
- Accuracy before speed: fixing every mistake costs more time than typing a little slower.
- Read one word ahead: let your eyes run slightly ahead of your fingers.
- For Azerbaijani texts, switch on an Azerbaijani keyboard layout on your device.
Frequently asked questions
How is typing speed calculated?
Five characters count as one word, and the number of correctly typed characters is divided by the minutes taken. For example, 200 correct characters in one minute is 40 words per minute.
How do I change my vehicle?
On the home screen pick a car, motorbike, horse, camel or rocket — all free. The race scene changes with it: a road, a racecourse, the desert or space.
Do I have to fix mistakes?
Yes. A word only counts once it and the space after it are typed exactly, so a wrong letter has to be deleted and corrected before you continue.
How do I race my friends online?
Create a room and share the code with friends. Everyone types the same text at the same time and the first across the line wins. The server keeps the time and checks the results.
