Draw & Guess is an online drawing and guessing game. On each turn one player sketches a secret word on screen while everyone else types what they think it is as fast as they can. You choose the number of rounds, the turn timer and how hard the words are. Create a room, share the code and everyone joins from their own phone.

How to play
- Create a room and share the code with your friends; pick the rounds and the timer.
- The artist sees the secret word and shows it only by drawing — no letters allowed.
- Everyone else types guesses — the faster you get it, the more points you score.
- After everyone has had a turn to draw, the highest score wins.
Tips
- Guess early: a correct answer is worth 100 points plus up to 400 more depending on the time left, and the first correct guesser gets another 50. Wrong guesses cost nothing, so keep typing.
- The word is shown as blanks: one letter is revealed at the halfway mark and, on longer words, another at three quarters of the turn — use the length and those letters to narrow it down.
- As the artist you earn 50 points for every player who gets it, plus a 100-point bonus if everyone does. Draw the most recognisable feature first and block in big areas with the Fill tool instead of detailing.
- In “Drawer picks 1 of 3” mode you have 20 seconds to choose before a word is picked for you — take the one that is easiest to draw, not the one you like most.
Frequently asked questions
Do guesses have to be spelled exactly right?
No. Capitals and accented letters are ignored, plurals are accepted and small typos are forgiven: one wrong letter for words of 5+ letters, two for 9+. If you are very close, you privately see “So close!” and nobody else sees your guess.
Can the artist type hints in the chat?
No, the artist’s chat is switched off for the whole turn. Players who already found the word talk in a separate chat that the remaining guessers can’t see until the turn ends, so the answer can’t leak.
Can we use our own word list?
Yes, the host can paste up to 100 words separated by commas or new lines and add accepted spellings with | (for example “United States|USA”). With at least 5 custom words you can switch on “Use ONLY my custom words”.
Is it possible to watch a game without playing?
Yes, tick “Join as spectator” when you enter the room code. Spectators see the canvas and the word but don’t draw, guess or score; public rooms are also listed for anyone to find.
